Teaching Assistant
(SEND)
Ideal for Graduates Exploring Careers in Education & Psychology
Part-time: 29.75 hours per week
(Mon–Fri, flexibility available)
WMAT Associate Scale WA3 Salary:
Term time only + INSET days £17,358 (FTE £24,420 – £26,16)
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and energetic Teaching Assistants who are willing to work across the school, supporting our teachers in delivering high-quality learning and helping pupils develop essential life skills.
This role is an ideal first step for graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology or therapy. Whether your interests lie in primary, secondary or SEND teaching, Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Play or Art Therapy, Social Work or pastoral support, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working with young people with complex needs in a highly supportive and specialist school setting.

Clifton Hill School is seeking a enthusiastic, committed and flexible Teaching Assistant to join our team, with a specific focus on supporting a student with a visual impairment who is learning Braille.
This role combines the variety of a Teaching Assistant position across the school with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities supporting personalised access to learning.
